(1)The jurisdiction of the University shall extend to the Cachar, Karimganj, North Cachar Hills, Karbi Anglong and Hailakandi Districts of the State of Assam.]
(2)On and from the commencement of this Act, all Colleges situated in the districts of Cachar, Karimganj, North Cachar Hills 2[, Karbi Anglong and Hailkandi] shall stand affiliated to the University.
