Section 24 — Procedure as to lapsing of Bills

(1)A Bill pending in the Legislative Assembly of 1[the Union territory] shall not lapse by reason of the prorogation of the Assembly.
(2)A Bill which is pending in the Legislative Assembly of 1[the Union territory] shall lapse on a dissolution of the Assembly.
