Section 68 — Committees to continue in office till new committees are constituted
The Standing Committee, 8[or the Wards Committee] shall continue to function until a new committee is constituted in accordance with the provisions of this Act notwithstanding that the members or some of the members of such committee have ceased to be councillors or aldermen.
