(1)This Act may be called the Indian Naval Armament Act, 1923.
3[(2) It extends to the whole of India except 4[the territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in Part B States].]
(3)It shall come into force on such date5 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint.
